Types of Bonded Warehouse: Special Bonded Warehouse (SBW) General Bonded Warehouse (PBW) : Home Consumption Bond Accessories : Deemed Export Direct Export Diplomatic Bonded Warehouse Duty Paid Bonded Warehouse Export Processing Zone Bonding Period : • SBW : 24 Months • Deemed Exporter : 24 Months • Direct Exporter : 24 Months • Home Consumption Bond : 6 Months • Diplomatic Bond : 12 Months • Ship Builders Bond : 48 Months • Commissioner reserves the power to extend the bonding period for a maximum of 6 months (SBW, Deemed, Direct) • Other : Cossissioner may extend the bonding period for 3 months and NBR may extend the bonding period for 3 months
